Due to the generosity of our Sponsors, Donors, Golf Participants, and Volunteers,
in 2011, the following contributions were made:
$20,000.00 in 2011 to the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center for research seed money to prove new treatments and protocols. More than $292,000.00 has been gifted to MD Anderson over the history of this organization.
$13,000.00 in 2011 to the Friendswood Independent School District to fully fund the “Safe School Ambassadors” Anti-Bullying and Leadership Program (for both students and staff) at the Junior High and Senior High Schools. Additionally, funding was provided for training faculty and administration from each FISD campus in new innovative “Project-Based Learning” curriculum. Over the 21 year history of this organization, we have donated over $141,000.00 to FISD through the Friendswood Education Foundation and directly to the school district.
